CIMIC Group named in 2019 Top Intern Programs list
Positive Intern Experience
CIMIC Group has for the first time been named on The Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) 2019 Top Intern Programs list, recognising the valuable on-the-job experience we share with our interns.
A peak industry body for graduate recruitment and development, AAGE uses interns’ feedback to identify the 40 organisations which provide the most positive experience for interns.
Internship programs provide work experience, often to undergraduate students, and include clerkships, vacation work, summer placements and industry-based learning.
Rankings were determined from survey feedback gathered from over 1,300 interns who participated in a work placement in the previous 12 months.
Students rated their employer in 15 categories including:
- Induction and training
- Content of work
- Ability to work on different projects or in different areas of the organisation
- Quality of supervision provided by manager
- Amount of responsibility
- Access to senior management
- Feedback on performance
- Social life
- Organisation's culture and values.
